My daughter has a rare auto-immune disease which is activated by UV exposure. For us, sun protection is a way of life and has been for years. This shrug is the best kids protection on the market! Believe me, I have done my shopping research on this! It is great for hot weather, when all my daughter's friends are wearing short sleeves or no sleeves. She can throw this on for recess and it is cute, and she is protected. Love it. To not have to slather her arms in sunscreen or worry about how effectively she is applying the sunscreen, it gives so much peace of mind.

One thing I hate about summer is getting sunburned shoulders! I live in Florida so as you would assume the sun is pretty much always out! My kids are always getting burnt shoulders and there was really nothing I could do about it until I found Sunny Shrugs. My kids pretty much always wear them and now don’t have to worry about their shoulders or arms being burnt! They are light weight fabric sleeve that goes on one arm, around your shoulders, and on to the other arm. They are sold in different colors and designs. I got the tie dye ones because my kids think they look cool. I would recommend these for all children just to be on the safe side especially if you live in very sunny areas!

I have been a customer of Sunnysleevez for the last 2 yrs for my daughter who is photosensitive . I have to say the old design was fantastic comfortable and offered great coverage . Not to mention comfortable. the new design shrugs are skimpy , uncomfortable and dont offer as complete protection due to their new cut . Very disapointed .
